I've found that Daw Power Disolve works wonders. I try to wipe out as much of the grease as possible with a paper towel and then spray the Dawn. Leave it set for a while and then just wash it out or run the pan through the dishwasher. Good luck!

I always use Dawn too! One thing I won't compromise on.

I always line my pans with aluminum foil. Just remove and throw away, washing the dish is a snap!

If I am making a dish that is greasy or that sticks to the pan like lasagna, I just use a foil pans from the 99cent store and throw them out afterwards, cheaper then all the hotwater and detergent

Use Dawn. It cuts grease better than most and why not use plastic gloves? Also, vinegar is very hard on the hands so I would definitely use the gloves for that plus who wants their hands smelling like vinegar>

wipe as much of the grease off the dish/pan as possible. soak in hot, sudsy water. wait til you can handle the water temperature to wash. don't let the water get too cool or you won't get them clean. i put straight detergent on my greasy plastic products to remove the greasy residue left in it. i don't use dawn because it is too harsh on my hands. any detergent will work.

I use only Dawn dish liquid for hand washed dishes. It always cuts the grease. As for the dishwasher, I don't have much of a problem there, but might try vinegar if I ever do!
