You can serve this on croissants or a layer of lettuce.
Be creative!
Ingredients
2 lbs chicken, boiled and shredded
1 Gala apple, peeled, cored and diced
2 stalks celery, chopped
2 handfuls of raisins
Mayonnaise
Yellow mustard (very small amount)
Directions
Combine the chicken, apple, celery and raisins in a large bowl. Add mayonnaise to desired consistency (some people like it drier or creamier than others) and a very small amount of yellow mustard, for flavor.

I use chopped onions and celery. I like red grapes and chopped pecans added with a little splenda.

It does look good but I still like my boring chicken salad without either the grapes or the raisins.....

Thanks for sharing. Been making something similar to this for years. It's always popular. I serve in on lettuce instead of on bread.

Love chicken salad, but would leave out the raisins, and appple, and mustard. I would add a small amount of chopped onion, and a chopped up hard boiled egg

I would add walnuts and the cherries sound great! Gonna have to try that. Also baking the chicken adds more flavor than boiling

Nice! The only thing I'd change is the mayonnaise. I'd go for some light or fat free miracle whip instead.

In Washington state I had the very best ever chicken sandwich. They put Washington cherries in it. I think I would sub cherries or grapes for the raisins. Thanks for this reminder. Photo is great, too.
