Crunchy Cabbage Salad
Ingredients
2 small heads Napa or 1 large head Chinese cabbage (or use prepackaged slaw mix that has shredded carrots in it; adds more color too)

1/4 cup butter
1 package Raman noodles
4 oz. almonds
2 tsp sesame seeds
Directions
Slice cabbage and green onions. Saute butter, noodles, almonds and sesame seeds until golden [only a few minutes]
Apply dressing to cabbage and noodle mixture.
Dressing:
1/2 cup sugar
3/4 cup oil
1/4 cup vinegar
2 TBL soy sauce
Refrigerate an hour or longer before serving.

I make this but add shredded turkey meat from the grocer's deli department. (Got the recipe from my local super market deli)

I make this, but instead of using soy sauce in the dressing, I use the package of flavoring that comes with the ramen noodles.

I'd make it a little healthier and not saute the noodles and nuts. Maybe try dry toasting them in the pan.

Yes, I toast mine in the oven. Also makes them a bit crunchier.
