1/2 C sugar
1 TBS horseradish
1/3 C diced onion
8 oz cream cheese
crackers
Mix first 4 ingredients together in sauce pan and bring to a boil until sugar dissolves, stirring constantly. Once sugar has completely dissolved, and onion is soft and translucent, remove from heat and let cool completely.
Pour over cream cheese and enjoy with your choice of cracker.

Thanks for sharing. Great way to use up some horseradish I have growing in the garden. Nothing better to clear congestion during allergy season.

Yep, it's definitely a hit at my house. We also can pepper jelly in the fall. We crack open a few jars during the holidays and everyone loves it over cream cheese instead of the traditional cheeseball.

similar to Mama Stamberg's cranberry relish recipe, but this isn't blended.
