

Ingredients:
4 Pork Chops
4 Potatoes (sliced thin)
1 tbsp butter or margarine
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup milk
flour
Directions:
Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees
In a casserole dish,(that has been prepped with non-stick spray, place a layer of the thinly sliced potatoes on the bottom. Dab butter on top. Place the pork chops on top of the potatoes & season with salt & flour. Add milk. Bake uncovered for 40 minutes or until the potatoes & pork chops are lightly browned on top. Serves 4-6.

Thanks for all your kind comments. There were some questions about the flour in the recipe. It simply is a thickening agent and when combined with the milk adds moisture & keeps the pork chops from drying out. Adding any additional ingredients (like onion)is always a plus. All your ideas sound wonderful! Enjoy!

I've never heard of a dis being "seasoned" with flour so I'm not sure if they mean coat the chops with it or just sprinkle it over the top! Anyone got a clue?

I would add sliced apples on top with onions. This is simple. but yummy recipe.

I would probably sprinkle the port chops with some type of seasoning, maybe some garlic powder and pepper for a bit more flavor.
